THATCamp, The Humanities And Technology Camp, is a free, open, interdisciplinary “unconference” where humanists and technologists meet to work together for the common good. Philadelphia’s first THATCamp will take place on September 23-24, 2011, at the Chemical Heritage Foundation Conference Center.

In the true spirit of THATCamp, THATCamp Philly will bring together a diverse group of academic and cultural heritage professionals who are interested in working together to build a strong, vital digital humanities community in the Philadelphia region. Participants will expand their skills, strengthen existing working relationships, and explore potential new partnerships in the interest of finding innovative ways to use technology for research, teaching, and learning in the humanities.
